Job Requirements
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience in demand planning, preferably from FMCG or retail background
- Knowledge of Supply Chain basics
- Familiar with data analytic tools such as Excel, VBA, Power BI would be beneficial
- Bachelor degree is required
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Flexibility in travelling
Responsibilities: - Start-up and design the function: processes, KPIs, information flows and governance routines.
- Consolidate an APAC forecast (Mainland China, HK, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore), working closely with all Sales Channels, Product and Marketing.
- Work closely with Retail Operations Team, Marketing and Supply Chain to improve and develop the regional forecast.
- Work closely with Demand Planning Team based in Italy to ensure correct flow of information, accuracy of forecast and demand needs are met / fulfilled.
- Understand and document forecast dynamics (eg; seasonality / daily order profile, competitor impact, cannibalization), in order to use as a basis for the future forecast.
- Understand and document sales history (base sales profile / post promotional evaluation), to use as a basis for the future forecast.
- Work closely with Marketing to define forecast assumptions for Marketing activity.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to define needs according to warehouse level, supply lead time and meet Retail Store’s demand.
- Influence sales strategy based on demand insights and stock optimization.
- Ensure service level objectives are achieved by working closely with Supply Chain and Retail Operations Team.
- Build and achieve KPIs of service (stock availability), wastage, forecast accuracy.
- Develop and improve demand and supply planning processes.
- Work closely with Customer Care Service (based in Italy) to prioritize and allocate stock that is in finite supply, to guarantee a fair service level across all customers.
- Analyze KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis in order to improve future performance.
- Follow performance of new products, seasonal products and seasonal campaigns and proactively highlight and address issues with Retail Operations and Marketing.
- Business Process Owner for forecasting Module in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Remarks - The candidate will be responsible for designing and managing the Forecasting and S&OP processes, to ensure we are able to provide the right quantity of products to our customers at the right time, optimizing inventory, service levels, forecast accuracy and minimizing wastage.
- Reporting to: Regional Finance Director, APAC.
- Partnership with Supply Chain / Marketing / Sales Team
- Solid experience in Demand planning, good communication, strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem solving skill
- Location: Hong Kong. Short regular business trips to Mainland China are required.
